Advanced MODO For Design

This is an Advanced-level workshop that’s catered to designers who are already familiar using MODO or other Subdivision modelers (3DS Max, Maya, etc.).

Learning to Design with MODO

This one week intensive workshop covers basic introduction to MODO’s tools, features, and navigation through the user interface, followed by Intermediate 3D modeling, surfacing training, and photorealistic rendering training.

Sketching as A Form of Communication

sketch created by an engineer in the second day of sketching training

This course is unique because it is taught specifically to engineers and industrial designers interested in communicating early renditions or early designs to managers.

Creo Level 3: Advanced Modeling

This Creo training course is developed for seasoned users who realize they can learn new techniques and workflow to become more proficient us an engineer. As with any of Design Engine heavy user training workshops the course curriculum is open for your team’s customization needs, however we may make suggestions for part, assembly, detailing & making changes utilizing Creo per topics and discussions listed on this page.

Creo Simulate: Week-Long Workshop

This course is designed for new users who want to test, validate, and optimize Creo models & assemblies. Creo Simulate enables engineers to simulate structural and thermal loads on products. Participants will also complete comprehensive, hands-on lab exercises that simulate realistic analysis, and design optimization activities.

Creo Training Course Learning to Design Using Creo

This Creo Level 1 course is designed for new users who want to become proficient in Creo in just one week. Introduction to constraint based modeling, assembly, detailing, and making changes utilizing the latest release of Pro/ENGINEER are just a few of the skills you will gain in this intensive week of training. We will work in depth with you to help you learn Creo; not read to you from an exercise book. As with all Design-Engine classes, participants keep training materials, logins, and passwords for life, as new material is often added over time.

Alias Level 1: Intro to Alias

Students will learn about Alias Studio surface modeling, and discuss general modeling approaches relating specifically to Alias Studio Tools.

Creo for Industrial Designers

While most training providers or Software resellers don’t know what an industrial designer is, this course is specifically designed for seasoned industrial designers who have a working knowledge of Alias Studio or Rhino 3D. To Learn Creo effectively this course combines solid and surface modeling techniques utilizing the latest version of Creo. This is an intensive seven day course specifically for industrial designers and can also be administered in a two week format to maximize the learning potential.

Creo Level 14: Advanced Sheet Metal

This is an advanced Creo Sheetmetal course. Example sheetmetal items are small battery contacts, aircraft mounting brackets, electronics enclosures, larger stove/oven components, or auto panels to name a few.

Creo Level 7: Sheet Metal

Class is intended for design engineers looking to become experts at Creo Sheet metal all in two days. This comprehensive suite of Creo sheet metal design tools helps users create features such as walls, bends, punches, notches, forms, ribs (as sketched forms) and relief features. Using a variety of Y and K factor bend allowance calculations, designers can create a flattened state of their designs. The result is parametric, fully associative solid models of sheet metal parts and assemblies. Participants have the option to customize this course to fit project requirements.

Creo Surfacing Level 1: Robust Surfacing Techniques

This Creo robust surfacing course is for individuals with a solid foundation in cad software and has a need to add surfacing skills. Although more than an introduction, this course sets participants up for an aggressive growth into surface modeling. Discuss the many different Creo surfacing styles and techniques. Learn with specific examples the basics of surfacing.

Creo Surfacing: Week One

This Creo Surfacing training workshop has been specifically designed for those designers and design engineers who want to gain a high level of understanding using Creo surfacing all in one week. This is one of Design-engine’s most popular workshops. This course is perfect for those non degreed contractors or design engineers looking to make top dollar as surfacing experts. The sooner you take this class the sooner you will be considered an expert at Creo surfacing.

ANSYS: Intro to ANSYS

Intro to the Ansys Workbench Software. Learn how to execute analyses in a range of physics

Creo Level 2: Detailed Drawing & Advanced Assembly Training

Creo training in this detailed drawing & advanced assembly class is ideal for engineers & non degreed persons plus engineers that want to be able to create their own drawings. Participants in this class will learn to prepare detail drawings with modern drawing standards. Participants have the option to customize this course to fit their specific job requirements simply ask to speak to the instructor before class starts. This Creo class can be administered on weekends or nights for more than two students.

Creo Level 6: Advanced Heavy User Custom Workshop

This is a fully customized course and can come with custom training materials or videos (separate quote). Often there is only one participant in this workshop, and is always customized ahead of time. This course will not be listed in the training schedule. Below is a short list that your group may want covered.

Brainstorm and Ideation

Learn to setup ideation meetings. Our instructors can help your team facilitate idea generating meetings and share techniques for harboring those ideas.

Creo Simulate Level 3: Advanced Modeling

Introduction to constraint based modeling assembly and drawing utilizing the latest release of Pro/Engineer. This course was developed for new users who want to become proficient with Creo Simulate in just one week.

Creo Level 7: Sheetmetal

This comprehensive suite of sheet metal design tools in Creo Pro/Sheetmetal helps users create features such as walls, bends, punches, notches, forms, and relief features.

Advanced Pro Sheetmetal

This is an advanced Sheetmetal course. Participants will be trained to work on items such as small battery contacts, aircraft mounting brackets, electronics enclosures, larger stove/oven components, or auto panels to name a few.

Adobe Dreamweaver Workshop

The emphasis is on learning to use Adobe Dreamweaver as a tool to create a website, rather than on learning the basic concepts of web design. Basic to Advanced web design classes.
