Favorites

What is your favorite quote?

“People don’t regret the things they do; they regret the things they didn’t do.”

What is your favorite Chicago spot / event / thing to do?

Any outdoor street festival, having lived in Wicker for 7 years they have quite a lot of them! Favorite spot: too many in Chicago… Tango Sur, Maudes, any rooftop grilling with friends / family

Favorite industry resources?

Core77, Coroflot, thedieline.com, kickstarter

Favorite internet meme?

(definition: to describe a concept that spreads swiftly via the internet.)
I dont even know what that means, they’ve got the internets now?! I’m getting old.

Favorite project that you worked on?

Either designing a next generation golf club for Cleveland or designing / creating an entire line of modern yet sophisticated furniture for Primitive.

How would you explain Industrial Design in three sentences to an 8-year old?

You like toys right? Wait for answer… Well there’s a group of people that work on the creation of that toy. An ID person would help develop, shape, and personalize that toy so you get the most enjoyment out of it as possible!

Too much… I have no idea. I explain it to 30 year olds and they’re still lost.

If someone wrote a biography about you, what will the title of the book be?

I guess you’d have to ask that person, I don’t have esp… yet!

‘The Man Always Loved a Good Argument!”
The man, the myth… and I suppose the legend.
