What do you do at Design-Engine?
I’m a class instructor with over ten years of field experience. I bridge the gap between design and engineering with a positive outlook towards building a better relationship between team members and empowering individuals to achieve their highest outcomes.
What is your educational background?
I went to University of Cincinnati for Industrial Design. I also have a fine art certificate concentrating in painting and computer animation, as well as a business minor. I’ve also taught design classes at University of Illinois at Chicago.
What are your work experiences?
I’ve worked with many different consulting firms and currently concentrate on Industrial Design consulting as an independent contractor.
What is your favorite quote?
“All we are is the result of what we thought.”
What is your favorite Chicago spot / event / thing to do?
I love a lot of restaurants in Chicago, but I really love to walk in parks along the lake and ride my motorcycle.
Favorite industry resources?
The people. Those I’ve met in my life are the greatest and exactly what I need to challenge myself to become a more complete person.
Favorite internet meme?
None. I don’t prescribe to propaganda.
Favorite project that you worked on?
Myself, yoga, mastering and knowing who I truly am without regard to any opinions including my own.
How would you explain Sales in three sentences or less to an 8-year old?
Making peoples dreams come true through art design and the manifestation of an idea into a real world 3D object that answers a need while solving a problem.
If someone wrote a biography about you, what will the title of the book be?
“Be Amazing” ~ or ~ “It’s never to late to be the best you can be.”
