How would you explain Sales in three sentences or less to an 8-year old?

Selling is the act of offering someone something that they need or want in exchange for something else, usually money. For example, if you would like to have a book or toy, and if I were someone in sales, I would offer those items to you, but I would ask for money in exchange, so I could give money to pay whoever was involved in making the book or toy. All in all, someone who does the selling for a company is considered to have a job in sales.
