How would you explain Business Development in three sentences or less to an 8-year old?

It is my job to help our company grow! I seek out new business opportunities, and create relationships with both new businesses and existing clients. I’m also in charge of managing a team and overseeing marketing strategies to help DE grow!

I actually already did! It’s in the works, and is expected to be published (hopefully) within the next year. It’s Called “Besides That Mrs. Lincoln” (taken from another one of my favorite adages “Besides that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the show?”)
