Overview:

General principles of rendering as it relates specifically to Rhino and Flamingo. Flamingo brings the features of AccuRender’s ray trace and radiosity rendering technology to Rhino. This plug-in includes rendering accurate images with reflections, refraction, diffusion, translucency, transparency, shadows, depth of field, depth attenuation, clear finishâ„¢, and indirect lighting. This course can also be administered with various other Rhino plug in utilities such as Vray, and Maxwell. Ask to speak to your instructor before coming to the class. Other features
Procedural clouds, fractal-generated 3-D plants, procedural 2-D and 3-D materials, progressive-refinement for quick preview, and extensive material, plant, and background libraries.

Prerequisites: Industrial Design Degree, Art Degree or CAD experience helpful but not necessary.

  • Displacement, Procedural, etc.
  • User Defined materials.
