ACCOUNT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Manager (AM) serves as the primary business contact for the client (prospective student) and is responsible for client satisfaction. The AM is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the AM should build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
OBJECTIVES:
- Reports to the Operations Manager, providing regular input on all account activity, including status, call reports, and outgoing proposals on a weekly basis.
- Understanding of company capabilities and services, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
- “Order Taker”: Answers all phone calls regarding training inquiries and regularly follows up with prospective and past clients.
- Creates and reviews all major deliverables (i.e. course type, cost, set date) in each proposal to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
- Sends out proposals to prospective and repeat clients, approves change orders and invoices, and is responsible for payment collections (i.e. following up on invoices sent).
- Works closely with the TEAM in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of proposal status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the proposal.
- Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
- Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, including cold-calling, data mining, and utilizing social media and web applications.
- Meet weekly and monthly sales quota (i.e. number of proposals, cold calls, sales, etc.)
- Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
- Attends client meetings and various industry events, as required.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Required
- 1 year of Account Management or Sales experience.
- Experience in a small, entrepreneurial work environment.
- Associate Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred
- 2+ years of Account Management or Sales experience.
- Experience in Admissions/Enrollment Management at an educational institution.
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Design.

SOFTWARE/TECH:
Microsoft Suite, Google Apps, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. ACT CRM is a plus.
